Target projects for involvement are typically located in resource plays and mature fields on the GOM shelf. The role is intended to support pilot projects and further development work by providing offset or analog well analysis and improving pre-existing well designs. Additionally, the role will perform drilling and completion engineering analysis to create new drilling prognoses for vertical, directional, horizontal and multi-lateral well profiles.Candidates must be self motivated with a high capacity for applying skills in drilling and completion engineering. The successful candidate will work on a number of vastly different projects each year in various basins in North America. Successful candidates must have at least an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience on technically challenging well construction projects.Halliburton is the managing partner of RTA.
