Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:• Leading and directing multi-disciplinary construction team, providing the structure & processes necessary to successfully execute this project. •Coordinating work with architectural, engineering, construction management & specialty consulting firms.• Developing and administering project budget.• Collaborating with key departments related to new hospital construction including: Clinical, Administration, Finance, Government & Community Relations, Legal, Communications and Development.• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements applicable to health care facility construction.The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:• 7-10 years experience in design or construction management or facilities management.• 5 years experience with major hospital construction projects • 5 years leadership experience • Thorough knowledge of issues involved in health care construction including code requirements.• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, motivational and presentation skills.• Highly creative team player with a forward-thinking outlook.• Sensitivity to children with special needs and their families.• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
