STAFF OPERATIONS AND TRAINING SPECIALISTSalary Range: 55,376.00 - 71,991.00 USD per year. Key Requirements: U.S. Citizen Major Duties:Assesses the training status and mobilization readiness of subordinate units, and in consideration of directives, programs, schedules and objectives of higher headquarters determines training needs of the reserve activity. Manage the training ammunition program. Reviews unit forecasts and monitors usage. Review training directives and materials issued by higher authority. Using these and an analysis of the Commands training needs lesson plans and instructional materials. Assists and advises Commanders of subordinate elements on mobilization planning. General Schedule SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience directing, establishing, and coordinating operations plans and programs for a unit or activity in areas of mobilization readiness, contingency planning, deployment, training, resources, and security. Skill in interpreting and disseminating guidance, developing and administering training programs, and performing evaluations and inspections to ensure unit readiness. Recruitment Incentive and PCS paid Must be new hire to Federal Government or have a break in service from Federal Government. One year of experience directly related to the occupation equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; or equivalent combinations of experience and education.Other Requirements: Click here for more information.
