AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and executes training strategies, which support the Company's performance and business goals. Assesses and assists the Global MBL Product Line/Service/Sales leaders in identifying company wide training and development needs. Determines current state of internal/external training materials, courses and programs established or available, including pre-qualification assessment processes and established post-training certifications. Determines training resources (training personnel) currently available either internally or externally and collaborates with these resources on program development. Works closely with the Product Line/Service/Sales experts/trainers/instructors/consultants to determine global training material/media requirements and to develop consistent training guides/ presentation formats. Responsible for the preparation and communication of training announcements for offerings/events, organizes schedules, determines training locations and assists with securing off site - training venues as required. Develops and implements appropriate training data base management systems and follow up processes, ensuring that training is being tracked and future training requirements are being determined and executed on an individual, by employee basis. RELATIONSHIPS Reports directly to Vice President - Human Resources Development. Global MBL Product Line/Service/Sales leaders. Global HR managers - MM - MBL.INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES Employees and management at all levels of the organization. Authorized to develop and lead the Metso Minerals - Mining Business Line training processes towards agreed plans, objectives and within guidelines as established by the Vice President. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor Degree in Human Relations, Business Administration or Education with emphasis in training and development. 5-7 years of direct progressively responsible training and development experience in an industrial environment.SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong pro-active interpersonal and leadership skills. Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships. Outstanding multi-tasking and presentation skills. Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change. Creative ability, writing proficiency, knowledge of visual graphics design or design capabilities. Excellent proficiency with MS software and database management systems.
