Job Description:
Assist, consult and direct properties in the Region with initiatives related to e-commerce marketing channels and opportunities. * Assure that content, photography, and local links on hotel websites on Marriott.com are up to date and fully utilized by hotels across the region. * Assure that hotel websites on Marriott.com are fully optimized to maximize traffic from search engines. * Coordinate and manage the pay-per-click strategy and keyword buys with Corporate eCommerce, across the region, and among hotel clusters. * Manage regional pull-through of Corporate eCommerce initiatives, programs, and eTools. * Manage internet vendors/agencies who may assist hotels and regions in executing corporate and regional internet programs . * Evaluate and arrange, with the Marketing Manager, paid/affiliate links or listings on appropriate travel, hospitality, attraction websites. * Coordinate and pull-through the national e-mail marketing, internet and Marriott.com programs * Manage regional and property e-mail marketing campaigns * Interface with Marketing & eCommerce Managers, Revenue Management and Sales Leaders to position properties properly on-line * Identify scalable, cost-effective eTools that help achieve regional marketing goals, and pull them through to execution within the Region and potentially on a national level *
