Local Nashville client in need of a Tel / Sell Coordinator.


Job Requirements:


EDUCATIONAL/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Mathematical abilities.
  • Computer literate.
  • Moderate data entry skills.
  • Ability to generate and close sales via the telephone
  • Possess and maintain a valid Tennessee Driver's License.
  • Possess and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company safety requirements and would make him/her insurable under the company's current insurance policy.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.





JOB DUTIES:



  • Develop a rapport and cooperative relationship with all assigned accounts.
  • Adhere to daily work plan making requisite numbers of telephone sales calls per day, notifying Vice President of Sales of any deviations from the daily work plan or customer problems encountered.
  • Record daily all call activity, including orders taken, product sold, new brand placements, new package placements, call ins and accounts not reached.
  • Inquire in each account about products that have not been purchased during the last 45 days to ensure that no out-of-date product exists in assigned accounts.
  • Update route book daily to ensure all accounts are serviced in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on all customer complaints to ensure problems are solved and to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Update all customer account records including license number and expiration date as required by law.
  • Order all POS needed for all accounts through POS Manager.
  • Visit all assigned accounts personally quarterly adhering to weekly field visit schedule.
  • Actively participate in all company and supplier sponsored incentive and/or promotional programs relating to assigned accounts.
  • Participate in sales meetings and all sales training sessions to assist in planning and executing promotional activity for all company products.
  • Conduct periodic surveys of assigned accounts as directed by sales management.
  • Insure that all sales and delivery personnel are advised of all approved brands, brand packages and promotional activity required in assigned accounts.
  • Meet or exceed sales volume quotas and distribution targets monthly.
  • Present all brewery and supplier programs to assigned accounts.
  • Provide administrative back up to Customer Service Representative.
  • Adhere to all applicable federal, state and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverage products.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales – On Premise.





PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Lift 10 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Bend, twist, stoop and lift on a continuous and repetitive basis.
  • Sit for long periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity to operate various business machines including calculator and computer.
  • Concentrate for long periods of time in order to read, interpret and compute figures.
  • Visual acuity to read paperwork and computer monitors.
  • Audio acuity to answer telephone calls.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Communicate with coworkers, vendors, suppliers, customers and visitors in a respectful, polite and friendly manner.
