Job Description:

The candidate will manage overall performance of the service center, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and that the end users are satisfied. The IT Service Desk Supervisor will also contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users at the desktop level and datacenter level. The IT Service Desk Supervisor will also manage, monitor, and analyze ticketing system for trends and process improvements, providing metrics on an as needed basis. Position Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience. Supervise, train, coach and mentor Workstation Administrators and other junior staff. Plan and conduct performance appraisals of IT service desk staff (workstation administrators), administer disciplinary actions, raises, bonus and promotions when necessary. Requires 5 or more years of related experience managing IT Operations/Desktop Support and datacenter support. Other requirements; · Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, especially desktop systems · Solid relationship management and performance management skills.
