Job Description:
The ZP-V level is equivalent to the GS-15 grade levels. NIST's unique Alternative Personnel Management System (APMS) , which replaced the Federal GS Pay Plan and structure at NIST, allows us the flexibility to offer higher salaries, including a supervisory differential, not available in most other Federal agencies. Moreover, employees are eligible to receive an annual pay increase and bonus based upon performance. Key Requirements: Applications will only be accepted from United States citizens Time in Pay Band must be met by closing date. Major Duties: Manager of the Security Testing and Metrics Group. Works with government and industry to protect information technology systems and networks by developing, leading, and managing security testing/evaluation programs and services developing and coordinating security testable specifications, supporting user guidance, promoting awareness of the value and availability of testing services, and serves as the focal point for Division support of testing and testing specification activities. Manages group's responsibilities to develop and maintain security testing/evaluation programs. Services as principal division expert on security testing, conformance assurance, and evaluation. Also, serves as principal expert in outreach matters with the testing community
