Job Description:

Wireless Construction Projects. This position is within the Alcatel-Lucent Global Services, Site Location and Construction Services Division. We provide turn-key site development services to major wireless telecommunications carriers to expand and/or enhance their wireless networks. The Construction Manager will be responsible for performing field visits and on site construction inspections. In addition, the Construction Manager is responsible for coordinating on-site bid walk reviews with General Contractors, preparing the required site materials list and evaluating bid proposals to ensure bids fall at or beneath budget. The Construction Manager will be responsible for obtaining, updating and archiving all construction documentation for construction projects, including construction schedules, punch lists, safety reports, lien releases and other standard construction documentation Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivelent experience required In depth knowledge of site acquisition and construction management related activities. In depth knowledge of project/program management techniques, project tracking systems Computer proficiency and superior organizational skills are essential Must be able to work unsupervised. Previous experience managing people desired. Travel required within customer market.
