Job Description:
We are seeking a senior contract level Program Manager for a multi-billion dollar government contract. This position is based in Washington, DC and entails working with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Analysts, Technical Specialists, and various agency government officials.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct, and control the project/program to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved, to include:
Managing multiple concurrent project tasks
Providing expert direction and guidance to subordinates
Developing schedules, formulating work plans
Managing and controlling project funds and resources
Ensuring overall quality is maintained and exceeded for both internal and external customers
Reporting costs, schedules, performance objectives (including service level agreements or other types of performance metrics and measures)
Serving as point of contact and advisor to senior level executives

Job Requirements:
MS or MBA degree from top American university
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Ten (10) years in management of administrative, technical or engineering staff
Experience working for or with the Federal Government
Knowledge and experience with the application of project management disciplines
Past history of ability to recruit, train, and retain high quality personnel
Experience in developing and implementing a comprehensive and verifiable approach for monitoring performance and handling corrective actions
Prior possession of, current or ability to obtain government secret clearance
