Job Description:
DESCRIPTION
The EH&S Manager will provide a safe environment for employees and the surrounding community by assuring the site’s activities do not have an adverse effect on the environment and does so in a regulatory compliant and cost-effective manner.
• Develop, shape and monitor all facility activities so that actions are in compliance with all appropriate safety and environmental regulations.
• The EH&S Manager will be an active process team member involving product evaluation through meeting customer requirements to safe product introduction into the plant.
• Knowledgeable and complies with all safety policies, rules and regulations.
• Ensures that all team members comply with safety rules.
• Leadership responsibility for 10+ direct reports.
• Maintenance of corporate organizational commitments by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.

Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
• BS in chemical or environmental engineering with 8-10 years experience or an MS with 5-8 years experience in environmental operations management.
• Must have detailed knowledge of all aspects of environmental regulations (federal, state & local), as well as aspects of related regulations (OSHA, FDA).
• Excellent organizational abilities and communication skills.
