Job Description:
This includes: a.Qualifying and quantifying business opportunities to insure conformance with guidelines and ethical business practices. b.Research national, regional and local trends in health care (legislative, payer, and health system) and related industries to assess impact of new potential business opportunities. c.Identify suitable acquisition targets, potential strategic partners and/or strategic alliances. 3.Develop proposals, feasibility studies, and business plans working with a cross functional teams. Negotiate contracts, terms, proposal pricing and requirements. 4.Work with Marketing to analyze market volumes, competitor assessments and other key indicators to formulate financial projections for proposals and new business opportunities. 5.Develop and maintain a system for sales pipeline monitoring, report regularly to the Senior Vice President and other Vice Presidents and/or Directors on the status of prospects. 6.Ensure activities are integrated with corporate development and other development areas of the college. 7.Participate in national conferences, associations and other business development efforts. Prepare and make presentations to current and potential customers to familiarize them with new products and services. 8.Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: 1.Minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience in planning and development, health care consulting or managed health care field required. 2.Proven history of success, strong prospecting, relationship building and new business strategy and development experience. 3.Master in Business or Health Administration or equivalent experience.
