Facilitates the development of the strategic plans and annual operating plans for the Ministries, ensuring their integration and consistency with the System strategic plan and annual operating plan. Manages, develops and submits Certificate of Need applications for the System and its Ministries and manages their review through the Department of Health.Senior Vice President of Planning EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Masters in Health Administration, Masters in Business Administration or equivalent Masters Degree required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare experience in a leadership role required. Demonstrated knowledge of regulations governing the Certificate of Need process and proven success in managing the process required. Experience in managing business development teams in a healthcare environment required. Experience with developing successful business development relationships. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY: Strong analytical skills. High degree of strategic and critical thinking. Strong facilitation skills. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines, people and projects. Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with medical staffs. Ability to work with both local and state Department of Health officials.
