Job Description:
Develops close and cooperative relationships with clients and acquires extensive knowledge of clients marketing goals and objectives. Manages and clarifies communication with outside agencies and resources to insure a constant and cohesive look as required by concepts approved by brand marketing teams. Reviews, approves, and presents layouts and concepts for approval to senior creative staff and clients. Directs the activities of designers, production assistants, stylists, photographers, copywriters, and illustrators as they may relate to the execution of projects. Oversees the creation and execution of collateral materials, including the quality of service of photographers, illustrators and writers, etc. Mentors junior staff and encourages the development of improved clients relationships. Directs and manages the activities of freelancers in accordance to project marketing communications goals and objectives. Evaluates outside creative resources to establish criteria and levels of performance. Reviews and approves photographs and illustrations prior to presentation to clients and utilization in the development of projects. Reviews final layouts with designers and production graphic artists to suggest improvements as needed. Performs duties in accordance with the corporate design groups mission, by meeting the design needs of a premier footwear company delivering appropriate design and communications solutions.
