Job Description:
Oversees the preparation of research and demographic analysis used to maximize local, regional and national sales efforts; Develops and maintains positive, productive working relationship with Local Division, Research, Marketing, Community Relations, Traffic, Master Control and News departments; Maximizes revenue generation opportunities available through local, 24-hour news channel; Maintains high level of visibility and professionalism in the community and with clients; Performs other duties as assigned. A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications or other related field is required. 3-5 years of related work and supervisory experience. Extensive work experience may be substituted for college degree. Knowledge of advertising, marketing, promotion, production and promotion is required. Working knowledge of cable industry and National/Local regulations as they relate to areas of responsibility required. Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. A Bachelor's degree (BA) from 4 year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
