Regional Director of Dining Services preferably based in one of the following cities: Denver CO Phoenix AZ or Kansas City MO /KS Salary: Negotiable depending on experience The ideal candidate will offer hands-on and distance training in all areas of food and dining operations such as: Leads and motivates on-site dining services management staff to achieve operating efficiencies in quality of service, food and beverage, resident satisfaction and financial performance Provides on-site training as needed and leadership for associates and residents, proactively solving problems and issues Oversees development and management of annual budgets for each community in region Compiles daily, weekly and monthly progress reports on all communities in region as assigned by supervisors In consultation with the Regional Operations Team, hires, trains, disciplines and terminates site associates in accordance with company policy Stays current on all Food Safety and Sanitation Codes, ensures all government regulations are adhered to Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with Regional Operations personnel Promotes Brookdale Living Communities in a positive manner and sets the example for company's standards of excellence Adheres to all policies and procedures of the company Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisors. Required Skills: We seek the following Qualifications: Education Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business or in a related field 5 + years supervisory experience in senior housing hospitality required, must understand older adult market 2 + years in a multi-facility role. Knowledgeable of all aspects of food service positions with Food and beverage background High degree of accuracy in all assignments Ability to work independently and manage time effectively High degree of initiative and creativity, and good judgment.
