Job Description:
Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and profit, accountable for price positioning, preparation of forecasts, business evaluation, inventory management and analysis, acting as the market demand and supply expert supporting the General Manager, Director of Sales and Front Office Manager, identifying future opportunities and effectively communicating to the Sales organization. The successful candidate will organize and lead selling, inventory strategy and revenue meetings with the GM and Sales staff, survey the market and adjust rates on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis and survey competition and read reports that allow profitable yield management.Skills and Knowledge Required:Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking ability Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheet software, database management, analytical tools Knowledge of operations research principles (e.g., forecasting and optimization techniques) Excellent presentation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and follow-through skills Ability to extract, analyze and reduce large amounts of data into meaningful information from which to draw actionable business conclusions Ability to work in a multi-task environment Previous experience in detailed, quantitative oriented position required Familiarity with third party booking engines
