Job Description:
Plans, organizes and leads activities to insure the highest quality of care/service delivery to the community, and efficient/effective business and patient care operations of the Clinic. Oversees financial and business functions, compliance efforts, maintenance of environment of care, grant-related activities, operational, contractual, and human resources management of the department. Leads team building and collaboration efforts, in support of excellence in care and service. Leads departmental performance improvement efforts with Clinic Medical Director. Extensive analytical and problem-solving activities, medical staff relations, verbal/written communications and project support involved. Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management or related field required. At least five to seven years previous experience in health care management required. Experience in a hospital, outpatient setting and/or clinic environment essential. Experience with health care operations, budgets/finance, managed care, billing, and third-party requirements required. Strongly prefer experience with performance improvement and grant-related activities.Outstanding managerial, leadership, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills required, as are patience, flexibility, initiative, and an ability to handle multiple demands effectively. Professionalism, maturity, and organizational skills essential. Also required are a customer/community service orientation, and superior financial/analytical/problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive interactions with physicians, patients, families, staff, organizational.
