We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Director, Pain Management of Medical Scientific Services to join our team. The U.S. Board Certified MD Director directs all aspects of Medical and Scientific Services' involvement on assigned trials. Provides leadership, management and direction of assigned staff. Assists in the implementation of department mission, goals and objectives, oversight of operations, development of policies and procedures and standards for the department. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited U.S. medical school (or demonstration of comparable training and expertise from a non-U.S.. medical school) plus a minimum of 5 years experience in clinical medicine with at least two years with involvement in clinical trials. - Medical license for practice in the U.S. - Post graduate training in relevant specialty desirable. - Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to establish and meet priorities, deadlines, strategic department goals and objectives and the ability to motivate and effectively reward staff. - Skills in providing consultation and advice on multiple assignments required, as well as initiative and flexibility.
