Job Description:
PATIENT ACCESS DIRECTOR Coordinate and direct the activities of the Admitting and the Communications/Switchboard Departments. Requires a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or related degree or a minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience with at least 2 years of supervisory level experience. CHAM Certification preferred. Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, and organization skills as well as the ability to be flexible with changing needs and deadlines. Ability to prioritize and delegate numerous activities and ensure the accurate completion of all work while promoting a cooperative environment. Solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, payor contracts and applicable rules and regulations affecting reimbursement for healthcare services. Meditech system experience a plus! Strong computer and Microsoft Applications skills required.
