Your job duties will include working with project leaders on the Search Relevance team to define requirements and schedules, communicating across groups at A9 and Amazon to make sure dependencies are understood and managed, and making sure that were meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Youll work in A9's small-company environment, but have access to the resources of Amazon.com, one of the world's leading Internet companies. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, an ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts, and a genuine interest in making search work better. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent number of years of relevant experience.At least 3 years experience in technical project or program management, managing complex software project through the entire software development lifecycle.Excellent oral and written communication skills, interacting with both engineering and business teams.Ability to juggle multiple tasks and multiple conflicting priorities.Passion for delivering projects on time with the highest levels of quality. Extra credit Previous software development experience.Exposure to one or more search-related technical areas such as information retrieval, text and language processing, machine learning, etc.
