Job Description:
JOB TASK
The Information Technology Software Designer creates software solutions, and provides support of software applications used in corporate business activities, locally and corporate-wide.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assess, design, and develop end-user software for core-business applications.
•Provide corporate assistance in the development of reports from SQL databases.
•Assist with developing user-documentation for use in software applications.
•Provide developer-documentation for use in software applications.
•Participate with teams to assess and establish software program requirements and specifications.
•Provide software support in person, through email, and by telephone.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred.
•Previous experience in developing software applications required.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
•Expert-level proficiency in programming in JAVA and/or C# (C-sharp) preferred.
•Demonstrated proficiency in using analytical methods to solve problems.
•Demonstrated proficiency in, and understanding of Web application architecture.
•Demonstrated ability in written- and verbal communication.
•Demonstrated problem solver.
