It's core duties range from planning and execution of productreleases and new product launches, over prioritization and communicationof product requirements to drive development, to supporting the fieldorganization in advanced sales opportunities, working with partners andOEMs, as well as maintaining and delivering roadmap presentations orwhitepapers.Product Management contributes actively to the overall company strategyand works closely with engineering, marketing, support and sales teamsto ensure the success of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux products. ProductManagement also frequently interacts with the Open Source community andthe Fedora project, which provide the basis for the Enterprise Linuxproducts. Every member the Product Management team is responsible forspecific functional areas of the product and/or individual releases. The focus for this position will be on the domain of High-AvailabilityClustering, Parallel Cluster Filesystem GFS and StorageInfrastructure. Requirements n order to excel in this position, the Product Manager must be both strategic and tactical, using excellent technical and business expertise to effectively manage the product development and delivery process. Good communication skills are a must, as well as solid Linux skills and a good understanding of the Open Source model.
