Job Description:
Collects requirements, analyzes customer needs, defines the special enhancement/customization projects, develops/maintains enhancements and/or customizations to the existing software product, and provides technical documentation for these software enhancements and customizations. Provides technical support to both internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Interacts with Customers directly or through the Professional Services or Customer Care departments.
• Collect / Analyze customer enhancement/customization needs.
• Design and implement enhancement/customization projects.
• Conduct unit testing prior to release the Quality Control (QC) department.
• Provide preliminary technical documentation.
• Assists and support customer care department by answering relevant technical support questions.
• Uses Help Desk to communicate and record current and future work.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
Must have working experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) using Oracle Developer (Forms/Reports/Procedure Builders) 6i/9i/10g in the Windows environment, Oracle DBMS 9i/10g/11g, SQL, PL/SQL. Must be familiar with relational database design, experiences with Oracle Designer 6i/9i a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills.
Self starter, detail oriented, able to produce high quality code.
