Duties will include, but not limited to: - Develop and execute capture strategies for new business opportunities - Manage and support customer sales visit activity - Prepare and present SIS capabilities/marketing presentations. - Coordinate and manage proposal activity through all phases of the pursuit. - Establish market based pricing to maximize the profit potential of each sale. - Lead negotiations of customer contracts. - Serve as customer advocate for product development, production support issues and repair and overhaul. - Provide leadership and consultation to value stream/program office and staff in matters related to intradepartmental communication, understanding of overall departmental goals and objectives, and individual roles and responsibilities. - Supervisory responsibility for account managers within group, including performance reviews, goals and objectives, and career planning. - Preparation of weekly and monthly business development reports of key customer activity. - Develop and monitor competitive activity, products and markets, and strategy. - Support trade show and customer visits as required.
