Job Description:
Our Business Development Team is looking for a highly motivated results oriented individual with effective communication skills who will be responsible for the identification, pursuit, and capture of US Navy and USMC new business addressable by ITT EW/Electronic Systems. Will work with all Business Area Team (BAT) Leaders to develop strategies and capture plans, acquire new business, and support the various BAT Order Input and Sales goals. The Business Development manager acts as the lead in executing the capture plan to win key new business pursuits in cooperation with the various BATs in ITT ES/EW. He is responsible for the Navy segment of BAT growth within their current business areas and into adjacent business areas. He is responsible for the proper expenditure of discretionary funds (Bid and Proposal funds) for USN and USMC pursuits with each BAT. He is responsible for the Navy input to each BAT for Strategic Planning, USN/USMC Roadmaps, and overall USN/USMC capture strategy. Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or engineering; MBA preferred Minimum of 10 years in a technically related field of business; experience counted for military duty. EA-6B or EA-18G flight crew experience preferred. Extensive personal involvement in either government or industry roles related to USN and USMC Electronic Warfare Programs, especially EA-6B and EA-18G. Detailed knowledge of USN and USMC Electronic Warfare Programs. Experience in engineering, program management, business development, strategic planning, marketing and sales of electronic warfare technologies, systems, products and services is desirable. A thorough knowledge of the US Navy acquisition processes and organizations is required. Working knowledge of US Government procurement processes as well as USN and USMC acquisition organizations and agencies. Develop strategy and solutions to complex marketing and business development problems and situations utilizing ingenuity, innovation and creativity.
