Job Description:
The Director will be responsible for pursuing campus planning work in conjunction with the stuidio principals, closely directing the work and collaborating with the studio principals to secure architectural commissions on targeted campuses. Essential Job Functions : Identify campus master planning opportunities throughout the US - Higher Education and Private K-12 Lead efforts to market and win academic campus master planning projects Collaborate with C/E Studio principals in marketing architectural projects on academic campuses Lead campus master planning and academic programming project work Demonstrate innovative collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to planning Participate in conferences and presentations showcasing the work of the firm Be a member/leader in planning organizations that focus on academic campus planning Perform necessary research to sstay current with trends Mentor architectural and planning staff Performs other related duties as needed Position Requirements : A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning or Architecture Professional license/certification In practice for at least 10 years LEED Accredited professional strongly preferred Strong leadership, and team building skills Excellent managerial, organizational skills Strong oral, written and graphic communication skills Passion for design Knowledge of the trends in Higher Education and ability to implement them in the master planning work Knowledge of the trends in Higher Educaton and ability to implement them in the master planning work Knowledge of campus planning benchmarks for public and private, large and small colleges and universities Can create organizational space allocations, space utilization analysis, block planning options and phasing diagrams « Return to Results Copyright © 2007 JobTarget, All Rights Reserved.
