Bachelor\'s degree in architecture required * registration required EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: * Minimum of seven years experience in management role required * Microsoft Office experience required * MicroStation experience required/BIM software preferred/Photoshop preferred/Bentley platform preferred * Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening required * Proven ability to think and plan ahead over a 6-12 month time span required * Excellent decision making skills with ability to adjust to changing circumstances, think creatively and respond to demands of multiple internal and external clients required JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: * Earn and maintain trust from management and associates within the firm * Evaluate, prepare and update standard department design methods, tools and specifications and create processes to ensure standards and efficiency * Provide quality control on all projects involving architecture * Set department goals in alignment with corporate goals and objectives * Manage, train and develop architectural staff to meet goals * Conduct performance evaluations, identify staff development opportunities and recommend compensation awards * Manage resource allocation and evaluate project backlog and pending projects to ensure appropriate staffing levels * Create, manage and monitor project budgets as well as review and approve staff time sheets and project billing reports * Office environment * Minimal regional travel required
