Job Description:
Prepares and conducts tests of varying complexity on telecommunications electronics boards and/or computer products. Troubleshoots and repairs customer product and test equipment to the component level.
Job Requirements:
This is a first shift position from 7am to 3:45 pm. Must be flexible to work a second shift if needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Electronics Technician Certification
- Pass a Technical Aptitude Test
- Ability to test equipment
- Ability to read test results, follow test procedures and process instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot units
- Possess soldering and de-soldering skills
- Regularly practices safe work habits
- Letter of recommendation from immediate Supervisor
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels as set by departmental and company standards
- Maintains satisfactory Productivity levels as set by departmental and company standards
- Tests, troubleshoots and repairs electronic circuitry boards and equipment to the component level
- Troubleshoots, calibrates and repairs test equipment
- Maintains a clean, organized work station
- Ability to practice safe work habits at all times
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
