Job Description:

A bank seeks a Finance Manager with 5-7 years’ relevant experience (accounts payable/receivable) including 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory role. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements. Develops procedures for managing day-to-day operations of accounts payable/receivable functions. Determines most effective procedures for maintenance of AP/AR. Coordinates workflow amongst different team members. Assists staff members in carrying out their responsibilities. Coordinates staff schedules and departmental coverage. Determines most efficient allocation of staffing resources. Monitors and maintains external and internal customer satisfaction with staff performance. Participates in preparation of staff performance appraisals. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting. Requires high school diploma or GED and business oriented college level coursework. Should have mortgage banking experience. Prefer knowledge of: General ledger accounts financial statements; AP/AR systems. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals is a plus.
