Job Description:
 A nonprofit, nonlobbying organization, serving the employee benefits and compensation industry seeks an Information Technology Manager with 10+ years’ experience supporting and managing IT operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and directing all system related operations and services, including day-to-day support of Oracle database and other Windows based applications. Will maintain the current technologies and computer operations. Specific responsibilities include: Day-to-day oversight of proprietary applications, programming, and hardware, assessing technology needs and developing IT plan; establishing and maintaining IT budget; acquiring and implementing new technologies; developing policies and procedures; coordinating all systems activities; managing staff and vendors; maintaining security measures and overseeing disaster recovery and system back-up plans. Will be involved in multiple pension plan mergers and will be responsible for understanding the business and system requirements for merging and implementing new plans into the fund’s systems. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, information technology or related field. Must have strong working knowledge of Oracle, Visual Basic, Crystal and Microsoft applications. Knowledge of pension plan administration and/or experience in a collectively bargained environment preferred.
