 A large manufacturer of commercial signs seeks a Java Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience. The candidate will be responsible for: Writing highly scalable Java applications; work on cutting-edge Web 2.0 (AJAX, and DHTML) development projects; resolve issues in large-scale, multi-site deployments; develop re-usable product and support product usage; and, enjoy tight collaboration with senior team, while driving own efforts. The candidate should have 4+ years of professional experience with Java; 5+ years of development experience with data-driven applications; 1+ years’ professional experience with HTML, XHTML, DHTML, and CSS; solid understanding of software development processes; knowledge of web servers and code development. Preferred skills: Experience in Spring; experience working on multi-developer projects using source repositories; and, exposure to high-capacity architectures. Must love writing code and should have experience with Hibernate, MySQL, and Linux; and be up on all the latest trends in web technology.
