A company that purchases charged-off consumer debt from credit issuers, and then uses methods to collect on these receivables seeks Senior Business Analyst with 6+ years’ experience in Process and Performance analysis. The candidate owns a specific liquidation process and is responsible for driving its evolution and performance. Provide guidance to department analysts when requested. Define process and performance metrics for the liquidation process assigned. Create reporting infrastructure and analytical data framework. Maintains ownership of strategy and resulting performance of assigned liquidation process. Create and maintain test/control process for assigned liquidation process. Provide ad hoc data and analytical support to liquidation process owner. Process map assigned liquidation process and identify efficiency and effectiveness opportunities. Create presentation materials for management and board of directors. Participate in liquidation strategy meetings and provide insights and suggestions for continuous improvement in liquidation strategy. Build forecasting tools and models for performance forecasts, budgeting and hypothesis testing. Assist in evaluation of potential portfolio purchases. Participate with other liquidation strategy team members and process owners to create learning environment. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering or other related analytical field preferred. Six sigma certification preferred. 2+ years Strategy Analysis experience in the collection industry preferred. Ability to speak read and write English is essential.
