Job Description:
 An IT staffing firm seeks a Business Analyst with 2+ years’ experience in IT. The candidate will support business needs, standardization, and reuse through business process improvement, development of functional specs, and Level 2 application support. Creates business case documents supporting project initiatives including business cases, project functional scopes and specifications, and creates "use cases" in accordance with established service levels and documentation standards. Continuously identifies areas in functional business area (order entry or lead generation for example) where improvements can be made to streamline workflow and application flow resulting. Develop and maintain working relationships with a diverse group of business people (supervisors, managers, and directors) in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s business processes to support the prioritization and delivery of demand. The preferred candidate should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Should have experience in at least 1 of the following areas: Business analysis, project management, application design and implementation, technical infrastructure design and implementation, web design and implementation, IT strategy. Strong preference for experience in 2 or more areas. 1+ years’ experience in business analysis and business process improvement. Experience collaborating with others in IT management roles to deliver shared results. Ability to demonstrate solid background creating business process and modeling documentation as well as UML modeling documentation.
