A not-for-profit organization seeks a Development Director with 5+ years’ experience in the fundraising and development arena. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day development efforts of the development department. Will be planning and implementing the annual fund campaign for all branches. Planning and managing fund events. Managing and working closely with development officers to maintain schedules and annual fundraising goals. Working closely with senior vice president of development and grant writers to optimize philanthropic gifts from corporations and foundations. Supervising budgets and overall administration/coordination of all campaign related activities. Serves as major gifts officer. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is strongly preferred. Should have intermediate computer skills including proficiency in database systems; preferably Raiser's Edge.
