Specific responsibilities include safety, manufacturing quality, training, production, material planning and procurement, and production control.Responsibilities * Develop Operating Plan and budget for their product operations group.* Ensure that adequate training is provided to hourly and salaried employees.* Communicate business unit and product operations group\'s goals, objectives, priorities, and progress on a regular basis.* Allocate resources within the department and request the necessary support resources from outside their product operations group.* Communicate to the workforce within their product operations group.* Monitor performance vs. plan within their group and take personal action on an as neededĀ exception basis.* Support continuous improvement activities.* Manage direct reports; clearly assign responsibility for tasks & decisions setting clear objectives and measures. Monitor process progress and results. Manages conflicts. * Create and optimistically communicate a compelling and inspired vision and sense of core purpose. * Strict adherence to business ethics and core values; rewards appropriate values and disapproves of others.
