Job Description:

Works closely with sales to produce and supervise the production of concept/proposal drawings and pricing. Trains the members of the department in all aspects of applicable Doka systems Manages subordinates and reviews their work to assure safe, economical and efficient designs. Travels to project sites on frequent basis to observe Doka self-climbing and formwork systems. Develops work schedules, participates in training and performs annual reviews. Insures that work is designed with available inventory and in conformance with contractual obligations. Prepares and/or supervises the conceptual designs and drawings produced by the team represents the safe and proper usage of Doka forming equipment for customers. Responsible to hire, train and supervise all of the engineers/technicians in the department; produces and/or reviews engineering analysis and calculations by applying the fundamentals of engineering and principles of design. Motivates team and effectively delegates work insuring team/branch/company objectives are met. Insures that the policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and compliance are adhered to. Other Responsibilities/Peripheral Functions: Identifies problem areas on each project.
