Job Description: Qualified candidates will need to have the capabilities to perform the following routine functions: must be technically competent in all aspects of water and wastewater engineering; must be able to manage a team of civil, environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C professionals in the production of project deliverables; must be able to manage multiple projects at one time; must be able to prepare/manage project budgets including the development of detailed project instructions, scope of work, level of effort, and associated man-hour estimates; must keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting; must conduct written and oral project reporting; must be capable of building and mentoring a motivated team for cost effective project execution; must be capable of leading project workshops; must be capable of performing a variety of public speaking activities including addressing client boards, councils, commissions, and governing bodies, as well as the ability to make technical presentations at professional trade shows and conferences; and, must be able to assist with the development of marketing proposals and presentations, as well as represent the firm with client development. Job Duties: Project Managers will be responsible for managing a wide array of WBL planning, modeling, and design projects such as: water/wastewater treatment systems, including conventional and advanced process train plants; distribution systems, including conveyance and network piping, pump stations, storage units, and reservoirs; and collection systems, including interceptor, network and outfall piping, pump stations, and equalization facilities. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the most current regulations associated with the Safe Drinking Water Act and Clean Water Act.
