Job Description:
This person will compliment an already mobilized team to ensure that the system is installed and commissioned in a quality and professional manner. Responsibilities The Field Engineer monitors and coordinates activities at the construction site. Works to ensure subcontractor effort progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to. Inspects construction site daily and works with subcontractors to schedule deliveries. Records daily progress/conditions, action items, and general status. Reports to the Integration/Construction Manager. This position is located in Eunice, NM. Other duties Assists with electronic security system design development. Participates in conceptualizing, configuring, scope defining, and implementing the electronic security systems project. Coordinates with and manages subcontractors in the field. Creates and issues field drawings and documents. Assists the construction/integration manager in managing subcontractors. Coordinates field operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ensures field documents are updated to reflect drawing revisions. Ensures changes are submitted to subcontractors and implemented as required. Works with other disciplines, engineering fields, and support functions to coordinate project development and implementation, taking into consideration industry standards and code requirements, customer specifications, cost effectiveness, company technical/engineering procedures, safety, and optimum quality standards.
