Job Description:
A strong familiarity with the regional marketplace is essential as well. Responsibilities include: Responsible for building and maintaining territory ad revenue vs. budget Demonstrated experience selling search and contextual advertising Business to Business lead generation expertise Work with existing and potential clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales solution Establish personal relationships by conducting high volume of face to face sales calls Set territory sales agenda including; prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars Proactively communicate account and sales information to both sales management and sales team Conduct regular analysis of territory including “big picture” forecasts Complete regular call reports to update sales management on account activity Maintain territory revenue forecast Penetrate non traditional advertising/marketing budgets to pursue incremental revenue opportunity from direct marketing, search marketing, field marketing, and co-marketing programs. Expand company profiles to build strong network of contacts within industry and build new sales opportunities. Qualifications: 3+ years media sales experience in media/web environment preferred Sales ability - persuasive, negotiate and close sales agreements Must be highly analytical, innovative, energetic, organized, persistent, dynamic self-starter Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with others at all levels Understanding of Pivotal CRM system and procedures.
