The Consumer/Small Business Group currently publishes PC Magazine in print, with a circulation of 700,000, and an online network, led by PCMag.com, comprised of seven Web sites, reaching more than 7 million visitors per month. We are looking for a sales executive with 3+ years of online advertising sales experience with strong ability to sell both endemic and non-endemic accounts both directly an through advertising agency relationships. A strong familiarity with the regional marketplace is essential as well. Responsibilities include: Responsible for building and maintaining territory ad revenue vs. budget Demonstrated experience selling search and contextual advertising Business to Business lead generation expertise Work with existing and potential clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales solution Establish personal relationships by conducting high volume of face to face sales calls Set territory sales agenda including; prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars Proactively communicate account and sales information to both sales management and sales team Conduct regular analysis of territory including “big picture” forecasts Complete regular call reports to update sales management on account activity Maintain territory revenue forecast Penetrate non traditional advertising/marketing budgets to pursue incremental revenue opportunity from direct marketing, search marketing, field marketing, and co-marketing programs.
