Job Description:
The Regional Training Manager plans, organizes, designs, and implements a variety of training programs that support individual, group and corporate performance initiatives. The Regional Training Manager works with Senior level field management, support staff and associates at all levels to build partnerships and implement performance improvement solutions.Responsibilities: Manages complex training project implementations that may have high visibility and high risk to the corporation. Manages implementation of skill and procedural based training programs within the Fulfillment Center, Staples Delivery Operations, Staples Industrial, and NRC. Oversees the selection, hiring, management, and development of trainers. Collaborates with senior field management to develop effective critical business partnerships and provides internal consulting services on varied performance issues and programs. Oversees a departmental regional budget. Creates training and team development methodologies as needed for internal clients: uses proven research techniques, needs analysis, and facilitation processes to design and deliver targeted business solutions that meet client\'s needs. Develops and customizes training materials to meet the explicit needs of different internal client groups, supports SOPs and logistics metrics. Serves as a role model, mentor, and coach to team members, project members and internal clients. Delivers presentations to all levels of management regarding various projects. Analyzes and presents training results and statistics to measure the success of different initiatives and support the investment of these programs. Provides a regional roll-up report to monitor progress in each region. Travel is required to support and audit the implementation and effectiveness of training. Qualifications This position has flexibility in it's home location (near one of our NAD Logistics facilities, in the Southeast region. Minimum five (5) years training experience, including project management and/or related business experience required Supervision of direct or indirect reports.
