Ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for managing all external partnerships for Ask.com and related properties. In supporting the Product Management roadmap, the Business Development Director will negotiate content acquisition and application licensing deals. Additionally, direct interaction with cross-functional internal teams will be a necessity. Outbound potential partner efforts will drive new or improved content and application acquisition. This will also be a key role whereby Ask.com user experience will be enhanced and/or revenue generation will be created or improved. Candidate will also possess analytical and research skills. Responsibilities Manage existing relationships with partner base which spans all vertical and horizontal efforts in support of Ask.com Product Roadmap. Also, maintain knowledge of the marketplace, key players by vertical and make recommendations which will enhance Ask.com user experience. Target and forge partnerships with to be targeted (both inbound and outbound) content and acquisition targets supporting creation of Ask.com Smart Answers product Track and analyze partnerships via active management of success metrics.
