Job Description:
The position will involve business development and deal making skills including strategic consulting and needs assessment, identifying and driving new business opportunities, pricing negotiations, contract development, and working with training experts to propose solutions to prospective clients. A proven track record of negotiating and closing service-based agreements involving strategic business relationships is required.Duties and Responsibilities* Establish relationships with senior level training managers through networking and effective follow-up with qualified and unqualified leads* Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs in a collaborative sales process* Identify and qualify key decision-makers, budgets, and needs* Use a consultative solution selling approach and work closely with production resources to find the right solutions that address client needs* Research new opportunities within targeted markets* Document all contact and information gathered* Qualify prospects and handle incoming sales inquiriesRequired Skills and Abilities* Demonstrated background creating new opportunities in an entrepreneurial or startup environment* Excellent communication (both verbal and written), consulting, and customer service skills and ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely* Ability to learn about, understand, and explain training simulations and e-learning solutions to senior-level HR managers* Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, rapidly growing start-up environment*
