Provides construction and project management leadership to ensure success of projects. Position will work closely with Senior Managers within the Division to ensure fully integrated construction design methodologies are utilized. Responsible for setting project direction and metrics to measure success. Provides leadership to mitigate conflicting interests from various facility user groups. Position facilitates problem resolution for major field issues impacting multiple disciplines. Maintains up to date awareness of construction trends and technology. Understands and looks for life cycle cost effective ways to embrace and implement LEED in assigned construction projects. Aggressively challenges firms and project managers for proper due diligence with regulatory agencies. Construction manager is responsible for coordinating with internal groups to ensure proper information is communicated appropriately.
