REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
The Business Systems Analyst will report to Director of Technology.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the Trading, Portfolio Management, Operations and other business teams, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for implementations and automation projects. The BSA will also be responsible for researching issues and answering business user questions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the effort to upgrade to a new version of Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS). • Manage the Implemention OMGEO’s Central Trade Manager (CTM) and interface CTM with CRIMS and other of our client’s applications. • Work with management and traders to enhance trade cycle automation. • Coordinate software implementations and upgrades with software vendors and outside consultants. • Opportunity to become an expert on our trade cycle, data flows and software solutions. • Implement the Firm’s business solutions including documenting, assessing and recommending to improve our processes. • Write databases queries to provide data extracts and reports. • Priority focus for this position is Trade Cycle automation but there are opportunities to work with the Portfolio Management, Operations and other business groups on future implementations and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3 years in the asset management business providing and supporting business solutions. • Must have experience with Charles River IMS. • Experience with the following will be a plus: FIX, Bloomberg Trading, OMGEO/Global OASYS/CTM, Portfolio Management Systems, BBH Infomediary. • Familiarity with writing SQL statements, MS SQL Server and Visual Basic. • Interface expertise including developing new interfaces, updating existing requirements and troubleshooting bugs. • BS is required with relevant coursework in CSE and/or finance.
