Job Description:
Contacts designated businesses (advertisers and non-advertisers) for the purpose of selling Yellow Pages advertising.3. Responsible for meeting aggressive sales quotas and objectives.4. Visits these businesses to obtain pertinent information about the business itself, potential markets, problems faced in doing business, current advertising and results from it. Discusses role of Yellow Pages advertising in attracting new customers and retaining existing clientele.5. Prepares sample layouts and value proving background information, as basis for recommending advertising programs customized to meet the needs of each business.6. Prepares forms, letters, handles a volume of detailed paper work and executes contracts for billing. Prepares necessary paperwork for publishing and billing the advertising.7. Work requires high degree of accuracy.8. Works with reference material including sales practices and tariff regulations. ADDITIONAL FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED1. Outstanding performance rating in present job and selling experience.2. Computer experience; knowledge of Company systems, e.g., ACCESS.3. Ability to speak languages other than English. 4. College Degree a plus Requirements include: At least 1 year of sales experience; strong communication & negotiation skills; Internet proficiency; willing and able to travel over night and extended stay. TRAININGSatisfactory completion of on-the-job and/or classroom training as required.Individuals holding this job title will be required to perform the above job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
