Job Description:
A health care company seeks a Center Medical Director with 5-8 years of directly applicable experience. The candidate supervises and directs medical treatment activities of Center and coordinates activities of Center with those of other Centers. Establishes and maintains clinical relationships with physicians. Reviews clinic activities and recommends changes in or better utilization of facilities, services, and staff. Establishes and maintains work schedules and assignments of resident professional staff members. Oversees medical practice of Center and recommends procedures, treatments or other courses of action to assist medical staff including medical protocols and process management protocols and medical surveillance protocols for client companies. Interprets and administers personnel policies and provides for training program. Practices medicine in Center; performs medical assessments of Center patients; establishes and maintains a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients. Maintains clinical core competency. Licensure is required of the state of jurisdiction. Medical degree from accredited university is needed. Must have knowledge of Medicine, biology, chemistry, systems evaluation, human behavior and performance, administration and management, and customer and personal service knowledge including needs assessment.
