Job Description:
 A leading Internet media and services provider focused on the videogame and entertainment markets seeks Senior Financial Analyst with 3+ years’ experience working in an accounting or finance role preferably in the television or media industries. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial support, reporting, and various accounting functions. Responsibilities include: Program asset tracking/reporting, cash planning, forecasting, program amortization accounting and reconciliations, as well as departmental cost planning and forecasting; provide accurate cash-flow projections and better planning for distributions and investments; provide the finance organization with support for monthly accounting processes, accruals, account reconciliations, research, as well as forecast and budget support; ensure the program asset database is updated and monthly amortization entries are accurately recorded to the general ledger. Also provides management with more reliable P&L projections. Provide management better insights to key metrics such as cost per hour, premiere hours, and co-finance impacts. Provide the programming group with better visibility and controls related to their G&A expenses, provides financial and variance reporting, makes their monthly accruals, and provides them with budget and forecast support. The preferred candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Experience in program production and accounting highly desirable. Should have experience with large ERP systems, such as Peoplesoft, Oracle, or SAP.
