Job Description:
 An advertising company seeks a Project Manager with 5-7 years of relevant or engineering experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing primary support for all services related to the company's product line. Will develop a deep and general knowledge of all technologies, services and processes. Will also be assigned marketing and technology projects that they will be responsible for scoping and executing against budget and timeline objectives. Will be required to take ownership of issues they encounter and ensure that they are properly resolved in a timely manner. Should be able to determine when issues require escalation and know the appropriate personnel to involve depending on the situation. Provide assistance and guidance as needed on other platforms and initiatives that are championed by the retail technologies department. Assist with development and execution of strategies related to platform growth, system functionality, competitive positioning, sales, pricing, margins, goals and objectives. Create and implement detailed project plans and resource schedules to support platform strategies. Develop and manage accurate budgets and provide oversight of platform P&L. Report progress of projects to superiors on a regular basis and escalate issues as necessary. Manage vendors and other external resources to ensure accurate and timely delivery of purchased products and services. Develop and implement internal processes and procedures that streamline and improve operations. Act as a liaison between retail technologies and all other departments. Create and conduct presentations and sales meetings for potential clients. Communicate and interact with key managers such as accounting, HR, IT and department heads. Create and conduct system training for internal and external users. Fulfill custom data and report requests. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or information technology. Should have general familiarity with and understanding of HTML, XML, database design and Internet related technologies. The following skills are preferred: Internet site design, information architecture, usability and industry best practices; familiarity with data mining and analysis tools such as Crystal Reports, Crystal Info and Visual/Ad-hoc Query Builders; experience with data-centric distributed systems and/or knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and OLAP techniques. Data warehousing, data marts and report prototyping.
